Society for Agricultural Production and Modern Transformation

Who are we ?

SOPATRAM is a agro-food processing company initiated with the aim of ensuring the market for the agricultural products harvested by the groups of the COPAD Cooperative, managing post-harvest losses incurred by agricultural producers, and ultimately creating employment for young people leaving the school environment. It specializes in the processing of fruit juices and their derivatives, the production of cereal flour, especially whole flour and porridge flour, as well as mushroom drying.

The Company constitutes the 2nd link in the value chain on which the SOPAD Consortium's activities are based.

SOPATRAM works in collaboration with the groups of fruit producers and collectors supervised by the projects of the COPAD Cooperative. Upon receiving fruits as raw material, it transforms them into juice and other derivatives, supplying them to the common store managed by the groups of the TWINAGURE Association.

SOPATRAM thus bridges the gap between the COPAD Cooperative, which manages the supply chain, and the TWINAGURE Association, which manages the distribution chain.

The SOPATRAM Company brings added value to women and young beneficiaries, especially in job creation. It contributes to the economic development of the country through the collection of taxes and taxes and enhances the well-being of consumers through its products. It also facilitates students in industrial and agri-food transformation sections to access study internships easily and provides them with sufficient knowledge to initiate small agri-food processing projects.

Our beneficiaries

Groups of young people supervised in processing

The SOPATRAM Company organizes groups of young people interested in agro-food processing techniques and guides them within its processing unit.

The groups of single mothers

The trainee groups

These groups undergo training to become competitive in the job market, to initiate their small processing businesses, and to create employment opportunities for themselves.
